As a result of human action, our planet is changing unstoppably. We are destroying the environment and causing far-reaching problems. How do changes affect our psyche, how is nature protection connected to the global economy, and what changes should we prepare for in the near future? The answers to these and other questions will help us find the guest discussions after the screening of the film Alcarràs in Brno's Scala cinema on April 24. After the talk, you can also watch another thematic movie, Burning Days, free of charge.
The discussion recording will be available after further screenings of this film in the other festival cities.
Economist Danuše Nerudová and natural scientist Petr Holík will take part in the debate, moderated by Jakub Vácha.
The Office of the European Parliament organizes the screening as part of the 'LUX Film Days' of the European Parliament and the European Film Academy.
