LUX Audience Award

The selection of films nominated for the Audience Award, awarded by the European Parliament in cooperation with the European Film Academy, will include the LUX Audience Award section, where the highly successful Swedish satire Triangle of Saddnes can be seen.

To the point: Disinformation

In cooperation with the Representation of the European Commission in the Czech Republic, a program of the section To the point: Disinformation was created, which will present films dedicated to the spread of false information and the gray zone between truth and lies.

MEDIA – Tribute to Fatih Akin

One new and several older films by a German director with Turkish roots will be offered by the MEDIA section - Tribute to Fatih Akin. The 49-year-old winner of the Golden Bear from the Berlinale, the European Film Award, and the Silver Lion from the Venice Film Festival won the audience's hearts with his spontaneous narrative and portraits of torn heroes in films such as Odnikud or On the other side. DEF will also present Akin's new film Zlato Rýna.
