Did you know that Earth Day...

- is the largest secular holiday celebrated by people all over the planet regardless of origin, faith or nationality

- originally Earth Day celebrations were related to the arrival of spring and only in 1970 was an ecological context added in San Francisco

- The UN started celebrating this holiday a year later

- in 1990, the whole rest of the world joined in, including the Czech Republic, and April 22 became International Earth Day?
